CPCS A77 Telehandler 360 Slew

A telehandler combines the best of a a77 telehandler and crane – it can precisely move cargo many feet in the air over a full range of motion. Add a variety of attachments and it can also carry multiple types of loads, including soil to palletized products. Known as a jobsite workhorse, these versatile machines are commonly the first to arrive on a site and the last to leave because they can be used for a variety of jobs, including staging initial materials at the start of a project, lifting palletized and suspended loads and clearing away the finished product at the end of a job.

Our CPCS A77 Telehandler 360 Slew training course (3 or 5 day foundation) is designed to provide novice operators with sufficient telehandler training to enable them to competently and safely carry out the role of an operator and pass the CPCS theory and practical assessments. Eligibility: Candidates must hold a valid Health, Safety and Environment Test for Operatives (also referred to as the CSCS touch screen test) within the past 2 years.

A77 Telehandler: Understanding Specifications and Usage

This new CPCS category replaces A17D and will teach delegates how to operate the telehandler in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions & accepted good practice. It will also instruct delegates how to carry out a pre-shift inspection, a function check and how to load/unload vehicles and static racking. In addition it will cover how to carry out hoist operations and suspended load duties, including fixed-hook / hoist rope and hook-up & remove procedures. It will finish by covering shut down and securing procedures before the machine is returned to a ready state.
